Functions
The smart home was supposed to have the following functions: lighting control (with automation in the corridor and bathrooms), multi-zone climate control, curtains control on all windows, acoustics built into the ceiling in the living room and all bathrooms, video surveillance system control.

Completed works

Designing
Due to the large number of multimedia systems, this project was decided to be implemented using American Crestron equipment. Our designers then prepared all the necessary design documents.

Switchboard Connection
Next, according to the project documentation, we connected all lines to the electrical switchboards and server rack. After that, additional testing of the integrity of all cable lines was carried out in agreement with the customer.

Switchboard Assembly
The electrical switchboards for this project were pre-assembled in our office. Once the connection and testing of cable lines were completed, we brought the equipment to the site and began its installation.

End Equipment in Rooms
Once all the dirty works at the site were completed, we began installing end equipment: video surveillance cameras, acoustic systems, motion and temperature sensors, electric curtains, and control panels.

Programming
After completing the installation of the equipment, we proceeded to configure and program all devices. At this stage, we configured the system logic and programmed automation scenarios.
This section describes the final result, functions, control methods and automation scenarios that are implemented in the project.

Functions

Smart Lighting
The property is divided into lighting zones — each zone can be controlled with a single button; a short press activates the main light, while a long press turns off the main light and activates the accent lighting.

Climate Control
The smart home controls all climate systems of the property, including underfloor heating, ventilation system, and LG air conditioners. The system allows setting different temperature for each room.

Curtains Control
The system controls all sun protection equipment installed on the property. In the bedrooms, automatic curtain opening is set up when the "Good Morning" scenario is activated. Also, all curtains close when the "I'm leaving" scenario is activated.

Video Surveillance
Surveillance cameras with sound recording function are installed in common areas, children's room, and entrance area. The system improves security and allows monitoring of household staff when the owner is away.

Audio Multi-Room
A 7-zone multi-room audio system is installed on the property. Some zones are implemented using built-in ceiling speakers, while soundbars are used in others. Each zone has a dedicated "Music" button.

Bathroom Cinema
A very special home theatre is installed in the master bathroom area, with a screen embedded in the mirror and speakers in the ceiling. The screen has a diagonal of 65 inches. All equipment boast enhanced water resistance.
Control
All rooms of the property are equipped with Basalte aluminum panels with engraving on each button, individually designed for the project. The panels control lighting, curtains, climate, and scenarios.
Touch Screens
Four Crestron TSW touch screens are installed in the main rooms. In addition to standard functions, touch screens allow answering video intercom calls and viewing surveillance cameras.
Personal Devices
All system functions can be controlled from personal smartphones or tablets through a special application, including from anywhere in the world with internet access. Interior photos of the property have been added to the application interface.
